About Meridian Labradors
Our Story
We are a family-owned and operated breeder and trainer of dogs who fit the definition of working dogs. Our dogs do well in performance sports, including dock diving, birding, rally, agility, and barn hunt. Our dogs and puppies are descended from champion lines with many performance titles. Our passion for Labradors started when we got our first puppy in 2000 and fell in love with their loyal and friendly temperaments, as well as their enthusiasm for learning. We are committed to ethically breeding healthy and happy Labrador Retrievers who have passed their health clearances and meet the breed standards.
Our Breeding Program
We take great pride in our breeding program for Lab puppies, which starts with carefully selecting our breeding pairs. We have bred our Heartride Meridian Blueberry Swirl "Maizee" RE CGCA TKA FN with Ganderhill's Mister October "Mister" DS as he has met the highest standard for the breed in health, temperament, and conformation. All of our Labrador Retrievers are raised in a loving and nurturing environment and receive regular veterinary care, training, and socialization. We promote positive training and avoid shocking, pinching, or other negative corrections.
Choosing your puppy
The process is simple.
Call or email us, we will talk in person.
We will ask you questions about what you are looking for in your companion, I.E., agility, competition, birding, support dog or loyal companion.
We will keep you updated on temperaments, activity levels and their general interests as all puppies will show a variety of these natures.
We will not ship our puppies and if possible, meet them before they are ready for their new home. You must pick them up in person.
